Using LinkedIn to Passively Market Your Business



Every business owner knows that there are two ways they can advertise. They can do so passively, or they can do it proactively. For example, displaying signage out front telling people the name of the business is a passive form of advertising. You’re putting the name of your business in the minds of your customers, but you’re not reaching out to them directly and telling them to shop there, as you would when proactively marketing your business. Both types of advertising can be done on LinkedIn. But here, we’re going to focus on passive advertising. Passive marketing on LinkedIn would include doing things such as creating a LinkedIn profile, building connections, and keeping the account up to date. And doing all of these things can help any business get more clients. How can such basic activity on LinkedIn do that? Because just having a LinkedIn account and making sure a profile is completely filled out and that the account remains active allows others to see your business. W
